I'm a huge fan of Kevin Tachman and his stunning photography. I first took notice when a fellow blogger posted his fashion week pictures last September. His recent behind the scenes photos of the haute couture shows are just as stunning!

I saw this quote just at the right time last week...a time when it seemed difficult to take the higher road while people were bringing me down with their words and actions.

Australia

I took this picture on a walk to the Harbor Bridge during my first trip to Australia. It was a chilly and overcast day, but still had a blast frolicking around Sydney. Love, LOVE it out there and looking forward to another trip down under! This time around, I'm hoping for a proper road trip:)

Cupcake Wars

Hi there, I'm still alive:) Again, life got in the way. Hope you're all well in this new year! I'm going through some transitions hence the lack of posting, but some exciting times ahead in 2012 (fingers crossed). I'm having quite the busy weekend, including a big 3-0 for one of my very good friends!

We started off the weekend with a trek eastward to Riverside and had the opportunity to get a taste of Casey's Cupcakes, winner of The Food Network's Cupcake Wars!! Baby sis raved about the shop when she visited friends a few weeks ago. Of course, I had to stop by since I was in the area. Unfortunately, I did not catch Casey's episode, but it was still exciting to get a bite from her adorable shop. Everything about it is ultra feminine and complete with pink cafe tables! I'm not uber girly girl, but all the pink still made me somewhat giddy anyway;)

Golden Globes 2012

It's hard to believe that January is flying by and awards season is upon us! Is it just me but was the red carpet just o-kay this year at the Golden Globes? Emma Stone was the standout look for me (though not my favorite Emma look), but man, can she ever NOT look good??

These lovely ladies stole the show, as well...So great to see Kate Beckinsale back in action!

Hi there, Friends! Are you all recovered from the holidays? Ready for 2012?? I'll be sharing some photos, but there just haven't been much time to edit. Will get to it soon:)

We've been blessed with warm weather since the holidays and it's putting me in vacation mode haha! A friend and I are dreaming of our next trip (we need some downtime STAT). I wouldn't mind wearing these relaxed outfits from Maison Scotch on my next trip...
